The Italian federation did not take kindly to Jose Mourinho’s criticism of Serie A official Daniele Chiffi.
Mourinho criticised Chiffi in the aftermath of Monza-Roma, calling him “one of the worst referees I’ve ever seen.”
As a result of these comments, Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that FIGC have asked for Mourinho to be punished for his comments.
The federation perceive the comments as “damaging” to the image of Serie A.
