FIGC open investigation into Jose Mourinho’s remarks at referee Matteo Mercenaro

Jose Mourinho is being investigated for his remarks directed at referee Matteo Mercenaro.

The federal prosecutor of the Football Federation – ANSA reports – has opened proceedings for harmful statements after what was declared by the Roma coach, Jose’ Mourinho, towards the referee Marcenaro, appointed for tomorrow’s Sassuolo-Roma match.

Mourinho said he was worried about the choice of that referee because he said “the feeling is that he doesn’t have the emotional stability for a match of this level.”
