FIGC president Gabriele Gravina addressed the repeated refereeing mistakes in Serie A games involving Roma.

Given Jose Mourinho’s track record of heated exchanges with match officials this past season, Gravina denied the idea of a conspiracy against the Giallorossi.

“Is there a refereeing problem with Roma? Absolutely not. Let’s stop with these misunderstandings, let’s forget these claims that hurt those who are first to think of this sort of conspiracy,” Gravina told Rai Radio 1 program Radio Anch’io Sport.

“Roma is a great club and knows very well that there can be mistakes made by referees, but we should stop with these conspiracy theories that create only alibis for those who should carry more responsibility.”
