The President of the Italian federation, Gabriele Gravina, spoke in reference to Gianluca Mancini’s celebrations after Roma’s win over Lazio.
The Giallorossi defender was seen waving a flag with Lazio colors which displayed a rat.
This episode will reportedly be subject of further investigation from FIGC who could decide on implementing a punishment against Mancini.
In an interview with Sky Sport, Gravina stated, “There are no comments except that I have been informed that the Prosecutor’s Office has opened a file and therefore an investigation is underway.”
Several media outlets in Italy took issue with Mancini’s way of celebrating Roma’s Derby victory.
