After the much talked about transfer to Italy fell through in the summer, Filip Kostić of Eintracht Frankfurt returns on Roma’s radar as well as many other teams’.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Kostić recently switched agents and is now represented by Alessandro Lucci (the same agent of Edin Dzeko and Alessandro Florenzi, among others), who wants to bring the Croatian international to Italy as early as this January window.
General Manager Tiago Pinto wants Kostić to replace Mkhitaryan, given the Armenian international’s poor performances and a future that remains uncertain.
However, Pinto will have to beat serious competition for the Croatian attacker: both Lazio and Inter were in advanced talks with Kostić earlier this summer, and the Nerazzurri continue to pursue him as a substitute to Ivan Perisić.
