Atletico Madrid left back Filipe Luis has suffered a hamstring injury, the Spanish club has announced.
The club revealed: “Filipe Luis injured himself in our Champions League match against Qarabag and in today’s session he didn’t train with the team and instead underwent some medical exams. Our left back was diagnosed with an elongation on his left leg’s hamstring. Filipe will do physical therapy until he recieves clearance from the medical staff.”
The Brazilian’s presence against Roma in the Champions League on 22 November is now in question in a must-win match for Diego Simeone’s men.
