Former Roma defender Filippo Missori spoke about his time in the Italian capital after joining Sassuolo earlier this summer.
The youngster was asked about Roma’s project and his ambitions for the future.
“Roma have changed their mentality in recent years, they help many young players grow by making them adapt to the first team for the following years as well.”
“I still remember my debut in the Conference League. [Mourinho] asked me if I felt up to it and I said yes. I still have the ball from that match, it’s at home and will stay there,” he said in an interview with Sassuolo’s official media.
“I know about Pellegrini’s journey here. I know he liked it here and I wish I could follow in his footsteps.”
