Daniele De Rossi is being eyed by several clubs, in Italy and abroad, after his impressive start to life as Roma’s head coach.

The Italian manager has in fact been included in the list of potential replacements for Vincenzo Italiano at Fiorentina and Thiago Motta at Bologna.

Both coaches are expected to depart their respective clubs this summer and, according to Corriere della Sera, De Rossi is being monitored as a candidate to replace either one of them.

The newspaper suggests that De Rossi’s priority is to remain at Roma but the club have yet to undertake discussions around a long-term deal for the legendary captain.

Moreover, De Rossi has also been linked with two Premier League sides: Brighton and Newcastle United.
