Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano expressed his satisfaction at his team’s reaction to secure one point versus Roma tonight.
In his post-match interview with DAZN at Stadio Olimpico, Italiano said, “We played a fantastic second half tonight. We wanted to recover the result in every way, especially because we hadn’t approached it well and Roma had taken advantage of it.”
“But, then we took control of the match and had many opportunities to score and it’s a shame because in the end we could have taken advantage of Roma who only thought about defending themselves.”
“I complimented my team because they had the strength and will to react in a difficult situation.”
