Fiorentina are keen on Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and continue to monitor his situation ahead of January.
Today’s report by calciomercato.com suggests that – despite the deal being very complicated due to the player’s elevated salary – Fiorentina have made it their objective to try and pursue Pellegrini in the coming weeks.
With Edoardo Bove out for an indefinite period of time, Fiorentina need to secure at least one more midfielder in January.
Pellegrini’s situation at Roma could favor the Viola as the Giallorossi skipper has yet to play a full 90 minutes under Claudio Ranieri.
The player’s future in the capital is increasingly in question and he could soon consider moving elsewhere, in search of a more prominent and consistent role.
