Fiorentina, Pradé: “We’re reflecting on Montella. Kalinić and Florenzi? We never held talks for them”.

John Solano

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Pradé was interviewed by Sky Sport following La Viola’s 4-1 loss this evening to Roma.

Pradé discussed not only the future of Vincenzo Montella, but also the transfer market situation of the club as they’re reportedly interested in acquiring Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi and Nikola Kalinić in January.

“It’s a difficult moment right now that we’re certainly eager to get past. We expected different results so we’ll analyse everything in the coming hours to help bring Fiorentina back where it deserves to be”, he said.

“For the quality we have in the team, we have a low number of points. The president is disappointed. He’s never sacked anyone since being appointed but the situation is complicated”.

He continued, “Kalinić and Florenzi? We’ve never held talks (with Roma) for them”.
