Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso appeared on La Viola’s official television channel today and dismissed the rumors that Daniele De Rossi would be the next manager of the club.
“Everyday I read something in the media about a new manager or new players arriving at Fiorentina,” he said.
“When I arrived here in the middle of the transfer window, I said how amazed I was about all the Fake News I read or heard”.
“This part of the season is so important and delicate for us — I believe that those who continue to discuss my choices to replace one person or another only hurt Fiorentina and the fans. I have not had any kind of contact, email or phone or in-person, with anyone and since everyone knows that the final decision is always mine, it’s amazing that this Fake News keeps getting published”.
