Fiorentina defender Luca Ranieri seemed to withdraw his recent remarks directed at Roma’s Leandro Paredes.
In the recent match that saw Roma draw 1-1 with Fiorentina, Ranieri was caught on camera mocking Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
During an appearance at Fiorentina’s pre-match press conference ahead of their upcoming Europa League fixture, Ranieri said, “I just want to say that those are things that are said on the pitch and they are meant to stay on the pitch.”
“Those words do not leave the stadium once the game is finished,” he added.
