Fiorentina’s Luca Martinez Quarta – Viola’s goal-scorer of the night – reacted to his side’s 1-1 draw with Roma at Stadio Olimpico tonight.
Despite playing with a two-men advantage over the Giallorossi, Quarta’s side were unable to collect the three points.
In his post-match interview with DAZN, Quarta said, “Unfortunately we only drew, which is underwhelming. There were 9 players left for Roma and perhaps we could have done more. They found the goal immediately, then closed up shop.”
“It’s a shame really, we could have done more tonight,” he concluded.
