The voices of a potential return to Brazil for Gerson, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina, are getting stronger. Globoesporte reports that the departure of Lucas Paqueta for Milan has led to Flamengo to eye the former Fluminense midfielder. In the initial talks between Flamengo and Roma, the Giallorossi admitted that they are open to a potential deal, however, they wanted the Brazilian side to include young striker Lincoln. Flamengo refused this request, however, the negotiations with Roma are continuing as two representatives from the Brazilian club have arrived in Italy to try and find a definitive agreement.
