While awaiting the official announcement of his appointment, Florent Ghisolfi is said to be already operational as Roma’s new sporting director.

The 39-year-old executive from Nice is expected to shortly land in Italy where he will begin his term with the Giallorossi.

However, Leggo reports that Ghisolfi has already held talks with Roma’s management and, above all, Daniele De Rossi.

Together with De Rossi, Ghisolfi compiled a list of transfer targets for the summer: the Frenchman will reportedly seek at least two additional fullbacks, one box-to-box midfielder, an attacking winger and a striker in case of Romelu Lukaku’s definite departure from the club.

Ghisolfi will bring two collaborators – one of whom will oversee the transfer market of Roma’s Primavera and the other will work more closely as his assistant.
