Moreover, Fiorentina, who have let go of Pol Lirola, wanted to initially bring in Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta on loan. However, the transfer is more complicated than the Viola expected. In case Zappacosta were not to arrive, Florenzi would become the primary option for Vincenzo Italiano’s side.
As we enter the last month of the transfer window, it is increasingly unlikely that we will see Florenzi back in the capital for the upcoming campaign.
