Florenzi edges closer to a permanent move to Milan

Andy Mattioli

Alessandro Florenzi’s time at Milan is likely to continue going forward according to the latest report by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian full-back has managed to climb the ranks and cement his place in Stefano Pioli’s starting eleven, especially after fellow right-back Davide Calabria suffered an injury.

The 30-year-old has so far featured in 24 games for Milan, scoring one goal.

According to the Italian newspaper, Milan and Florenzi’s agent are edging closer to making the loan move permanent with the Rossoneri willing to cover the fee of €4.5 million requested by Roma.

The two clubs will continue to negotiate but a solution is expected to be found before the end of the season with Florenzi staying in Milan.
