Florenzi following his move to Milan: “Roma put me aside after the Euro. I’m not sure it was a technical choice.”

Alessandro Florenzi is a new Milan player. The fullback begins his adventure as a Rossoneri on loan with option to buy in 2022.

Florenzi spoke of Roma’s refusal to count on him after Euro 2020 in the opening press conference.

“Roma decided to put me aside despite having returned as a European champion, but I think the choice was made around 2-3 years ago already.”

“I accepted this choice, having already accepted it two years ago despite not being favourable to it, since everybody knows I’m a Roma fan. It’s no secret.”

“Roma made their choice two years ago. Let’s say it was a technical choice although I don’t think it was just that. I think there’s more to it.”
