Following Antonio Conte’s outburst after their loss to Borussia Dortmund, Inter are ready to dive back into the transfer market in January to appease their manager. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the objectives of the former Chelsea boss could come in the form of Roma’s Alessandro Florenzi.
The Giallorossi captain was excluded from Paulo Fonseca’s starting formation for the fifth consecutive match yesterday against Gladbach and has seen his role significantly reduced this season. While Parma’s Matteo Darmian is the current favorite to join Inter, Roma could be tempted by a proposal for their captain should Conte’s side include a name such as Matias Vecino, who would fill a need for the Giallorossi in Fonseca’s two-man midfield.
