Florenzi wants €3.5m-€4m per season in wages

”Now is not the time to discuss my contract. I am used to thinking only about the present and the present is Shakhtar.”

Those were the words yesterday of Alessandro Florenzi regarding his contract renewal; the Italian international’s current deal expires in 16 months and Roma have yet to find an agreement with Florenzi. In fact, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the sides are still far away from an agreement.

Florenzi, reportedly, is asking for wages worth between €3.5-€4 million (net) per season, nearly the same as Nainggolan. Roma appear hesitant at these figures, but the expectation is that an agreement will be reached to avoid a long soap opera.
