Florenzi’s future still on standby

Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi has returned to the Italian capital following his loan spell at Valencia, but his future still remains a major question mark.

Sky Sport reports a departure for the former Giallorossi captain is not as straightforward as most initially thought it would be. Why? Because there are reportedly no concrete offers yet for the 29 year-old.

The interest from Carlo Ancelotti and his Everton side is strong, as-is the interest of Fiorentina. Juventus also cannot be ruled out in making a potential attempt for Florenzi.

Despite the interest, no club has made a concrete proposal as both Florenzi and Roma await to find a solution.
