RomaPress – Roma could be very shorthanded for this weekend’s league fixture against Parma.
The Giallorossi have been significantly negatively impacted over the past two weeks by COVID-19 as Edin Dzeko, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Davide Santon, Federico Fazio, Marash Kumbulla, Nicola Zalewski, and Pietro Boer have all tested positive for the virus and remain in isolation.
Dzeko, who tested positive on the 6th of November, has yet to test negative and is nearly a certainty to miss out on this weekend’s match against the Gialloblu in the Italian capital.
Meanwhile, defender Chris Smalling did not take part in this morning’s training sessions with the rest of his teammates as he is battling a severe case of food poisoning. The Giallorossi, though, were handed a boost as Leonardo Spinazzola and Carles Pérez returned to full training.
