Fonseca: “I saw some positive things but we need to improve”.

Paulo Fonseca to Roma TV following the Giallorossi’s 2-2 draw against Athletic Bilbao. These are his words:

Your initial analysis.
We made some changes with respect to the previous match given we also have a match upcoming against Real Madrid, but we saw some positive things. We tried to make the ball move more and keep hold of possession but we made some mistakes during our build-up. We did better in the second half but there were both good and bad things.

What were the most positive aspects?
In particular, the willingness to start our play from the back, dominate the game with possession. We faced an excellent team who had a higher degree of preparation and played on a pitch that wasn’t in great shape. We need to improve, though.
