Roma boss Paulo Fonseca did not hold back following the Giallorossi’s midweek draw against Wolfsberger in the Europa League: “I didn’t like our attitude, there were some who didn’t deserve to play today”, he said.
La Repubblica reports that the Portuguese manager and Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi were very hard on the Giallorossi players in training yesterday and confronted them over their poor attitude displayed in the clash. Reportedly, Fonseca was especially angry with the players who play a bit less yet failed to put forth the right mindset, including Alessandro Florenzi, Federico Fazio, and Cengiz Ünder.
Fonseca reiterated that their attitude must improve for Sunday’s match against bottom-of-table Spal.
