Roma boss Paulo Fonseca was interviewed by Sky Sport after his side dismantled Cluj in the Europa League this evening by a score of 5-0.
The Giallorossi now find themselves at the top of their group and remain unbeaten in the competition after three matches played.
“There were a lot of positives tonight, it’s always important not to concede a goal,” asserted Fonseca.
“Right now it looks like it was an easy match, but Cluj has attained good results this season. We started well, which always seems to help us.”
“I chose a system that I thought would help us — Pedro and Mkhitaryan played closer to Borja, who did well. I’ve always said that he’s a youngster and we need to give him time to adapt. I’m glad he scored twice today because this will help his confidence.”
“I liked everything we did this evening. Pedro? He’s a great professional. He’s helping the team a lot and it’s important to have players with this level of intensity, which he has transmits to the whole team.”
