The feud between Roma manager Paulo Fonseca and striker Edin Dzeko is dragging on after seven days.
The pair clashed after the Bosnian had a confrontation with the Portuguese tactician the day after the Giallorossi’s humiliating elimination in the Coppa Italia against Spezia.
Following the row, Dzeko didn’t participate in Sunday’s league match against Spezia due to injury, but he has since overcome the knock.
Today, though, Sky Sport reported that the attacker was given the “OK” to return to full training with the group, however, Fonseca refused to allow it and ordered him to train on his own.
Roma, reportedly, have backed Fonseca’s decision even though Dzeko has expressed his desire to remain with the club.
