The Federal Court of Appeal has reduced Paulo Fonseca’s two-match ban to a one-match ban. The Portuguese manager was shown a red card following the match between Roma and Cagliari by referee Davide Massa for dissent and abusive language. Fonseca will, therefore, be unavailable for this weekend’s clash between the Giallorossi and Sampdoria but will be available for the following match-day in the home match against Milan.
