Less than two weeks after resigning his position as the manager of the Italian national team, Roberto Mancini has already accepted an offer to become the new head coach of Saudi Arabia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Saudi Arabia Football Federation is expected to announce Mancini’s appointment sometime tomorrow evening. He’ll be joined by Yasser Al Misehal, president of the federation, tomorrow in Riyadh for the presentation followed by a brief press conference.

Mancini accepted the role after being presented a three-year contract worth a reported €30 million per season—placing him among the highest paid managers in the world behind only Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.

The news comes after the former Inter and Manchester City boss unexpectedly resigned from his position with Gli Azzurri earlier this month, thus ending his five-year tenure with a record of 37 wins, 15 draws, and 9 defeats.
