Former Roma manager and current Venezia coach Eusebio Di Francesco was shocked to find out Daniele De Rossi had been sacked by Roma.
The Italian technician addressed the situation at Trigoria in a press conference appearance earlier today.
Di Francesco made it a point to keep his thoughts to himself.
“I will call De Rossi and I’ll tell him what I have to say to him,” said the ex-Roma boss.
“I don’t want to get into specifics and say circumstantial things [to the media].”
