Former Roma defender Antonio Rüdiger has reportedly accepted an offer from Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window, claims La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 29-year-old – who joined English side Chelsea in the summer of 2017 after spending two years in the Italian capital with the Giallorossi- is nearing free agency.
Given that the Blues have failed to reach an agreement for a contract extension, Rüdiger has been receiving offers from several top European clubs.
The Italian newspaper reports that ultimately the German international seems intent on joining Juventus in the summer. The Bianconeri have reportedly advanced a better offer compared to the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The player is expected to sign a 4-year contract worth €6.5 million in wages.
