Francesco Totti discussed the possibility of returning to Roma in an executive role.
In a recent interview with Corriere della Sera, the legendary Roma captain was asked about the rumors of a return to his boyhood club after his exit in 2019.
“Mourinho wants me at Roma? Of course, with a defined role and well defined tasks, I would like to return,” said Totti.
“And I would like to do it with Mourinho still there, he is the number one, I respect him a lot. I regret not having been coached by him in my career.”
“But I don’t want to go back to it. I don’t want to ask. At Roma they know that if they need me, for serious things, I’m happy to lend a hand. Otherwise, we remain friends.”
