Francesco Totti details falling out with Pallotta’s ownership

Roma legend Francesco Totti gave a lengthy interview in today’s edition of Corriere della Sera about his recent separation from Ilary Blasi.

In the interview, the former Giallorossi captain also discussed the impact of the falling out with Roma’s previous ownership of James Pallotta.

“Quitting football was hard enough, but then I also left Roma which hurt even more,” Totti told the newspaper.

“I had started working as an executive for the club. But it didn’t go as I’d intended. The falling out with the ownership was traumatizing.”

“In a way, it was like having to abandon one’s own home. It made me feel very fragile. I felt like I lacked a point of reference in my life,” he concluded.
