Roma legend Francesco Totti discussed various topics regarding Roma, their current campaign as well as Mourinho’s future.
In an interview with Bobo TV, Totti reflected on the Derby della Capitale, “Yesterday none of Roma’s attackers shot on goal, only Karsdorp managed to do so. Roma are equipped and structured to reach the top four positions in the league.”
“After being left out for so many years, it’s the right time to return to the Champions League. There have been important signings, if this team learns to gel Roma can get to the top four, but some changes must happen. In January, from what I know, it will be difficult to buy anyone. And for me January signings change little.”
“Mourinho? For me he is one of the greatest coaches around in the world. He took you to two European finals in two years, it never happened to Roma. For this alone he should be praised.”
“As a Roma fan, I thank him for life for this, then if this year he manages to take you to the Champions League… Roma is a great club and must have a great coach like Mourinho. I’m happy if he stays, if he goes I hope someone of his caliber arrives. Since Mourinho arrived, even the less important matches have been sold out. There must be a reason, right?”
