Roma legend Francesco Totti seems ready to make peace with former Giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti.
The pair’s infamous relationship – marked by several clashes and culminated in Totti’s controversial retirement and Spalletti’s subsequent departure from the capital club in 2017 – is reportedly on the mend as Roma’s legendary captain declared he is open to a reunion with the Italian technician.
In an interview with Corriere della Sera, Totti said, “If I met him I would greet him with affection, I would be happy. I believe there is a deep bond between us.”
“Also because what we went through together was both on the pitch and in everyday life. I used to go out to dinner with him once or twice a week. I’ve made mistakes too, God forbid. I believe that both of us, if we went back, would no longer be in conflict.”
