Roma legend Francesco Totti has declared himself open to the idea of returning to his boyhood club.
The former Giallorossi captain was recently asked about the rumors of a potential return to Roma as an executive and advisor to Jose Mourinho at the Special One’s request.
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Totti remarked, “Mourinho? We text each other every now and then. I also spoke to him on the phone some time ago. I think he wants me back at Roma.”
“Maybe next year I’ll already be back at Roma…” he continued. “I miss Roma very, very much. And I miss the pitch. I used to have so much fun out there. Today I continue to watch Roma from home: it has been and always will be my life. And it made me known all over the world.”
