Daniele De Rossi is planning Genoa’s strategies for the summer transfer window.
One of the club’s primary objectives is to retain Tommaso Baldanzi, who arrived on loan from Roma with an option to buy.
The Rossoblu have an option to sign him permanently by June 15th for €10 million.
Genoa’s intention, however, is clear: they want to focus on the 2003-born player while also lowering Roma’s asking price, given that the player has only been able to play nine of 18 matches due to injury.
Meanwhile, the Roman club has inquired about Frendrup.
To please De Rossi and sign Baldanzi, Genoa will have to weigh their wallets. Given that it would be a permanent acquisition, the Grifone will also have to consider the deals concluded between January and now, which have cost nearly €20 million.
Therefore, the Rossoblu will need to raise at least €40 million to strengthen De Rossi’s squad in the coming weeks. The players who could leave Genoa are Norton-Cuffy and Frendrup.
As Tuttosport reports, Roma are interested in the Danish midfielder, with whom they could develop a transfer synergy.
The Giallorossi have inquired about Morten Frendrup: if the deal were to develop, it could overlap with the one for Baldanzi.
