Friedkin considering altering Stadio della Roma location

The future of the Stadio della Roma remains a question mark following a report today published by Milano Finanza.

The publication has reported that Dan Friedkin is considering altering the location of the Giallorossi’s stadium project — a change that could potentially set it back several years.

Reportedly, Friedkin is eyeing a new site for the stadium, which is only missing the final OK after nearly six years of work, as opposed to the current Tor di Valle location. Should Friedkin ultimately decide to do this, an entirely new authorisation process would be required before construction could begin.

Friedkin had initially considered purchasing the land directly but Czech real estate developer Radovan Vitek is now closing in on the acquisition of it from Eurnova and Parsitalia. However, should Friedkin decide to build elsewhere, the project’s timeline will be significantly altered.
