Friedkin executive: “We want to keep the management structure”.

RomaPress – Roma continue their day of meetings with representatives from The Friedkin Group as the parties look to finalise the sale of the club to the American consortium.

Giallorossi sporting director Gianluca Petrachi was spotted at Roma’s EUR headquarters and met with some of Friedkin’s representatives, including president Marc Watts.

When asked about this, a legal executive of The Friedkin Group spoke exclusively to RomaPress and discussed what this could potentially mean.

“We want to keep the current management structure,” he said. “Assuming that they agree with our vision”.

It’s a brief and ambiguous statement, yes, but nothing alarming. The Americans want to reiterate that they’re happy with all of the current management team and for the sake of continuity, would prefer to keep as many as possible.
