The Friedkin Group are only steps away from adding Everton to their portfolio of owned football clubs.
After Roma and Cannes, the Friedkins are ready to make Everton Football Club their first entry in the English Premier League.
The American owners will soon complete the takeover by acquiring 94% majority stake in the English side.
As reported by The Independent, the Friedkin Group have already inject £200 million to repay a loan and put working capital into Everton.
The process of due dilligence is already underway, states the newspaper.
Dan Friedkin has also paid off the £160m loan that Farhad Moshiri took out with MSP Sports Capital and two Merseyside businessmen, Andy Bell and George Downing.
Friedkin has also provided additional funds for the running of the club in the short term and the construction of Everton’s new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock set for an opening in the 2025-26 season.
