RomaPress – Dan Friedkin is ready to make his final assault in an attempt to acquire AS Roma from current president James Pallotta.

A lawyer of The Friedkin Group has confirmed to RomaPress that the consortium’s latest, and likely their final offer, totals “nearly 500 million plus the remaining portion of the already approved capital increase” — of which there is €40 million still yet to be injected into the club.

The Houston-based group will officially send the offer to Pallotta and his legal team over the coming days as they hope to have a definitive response before the end of the month.

Friedkin has been in contact with Radovan Vitek within the past week regarding the Stadio della Roma and the group has been pleased to see optimism filter from Rome mayor Virginia Raggi regarding the final approval of the project.

It remains to be seen if Pallotta will accept the offer but the pressure from other investors within his group is mounting for him to sell.
