Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin are already at work to plan the summer market together with Daniele De Rossi.

The American businessmen are waiting to announce De Rossi’s long-term signing as well as the appointment of the club’s new sporting director – Nice’s Florent Ghisolfi is the rumored candidate for the job.

In the meantime, today’s edition of Il Tempo reports that despite potentially missing out on yet another Champions League qualification, Roma are not too worried about the ramifications of this year’s Financial Fair Play regulations.

The club seem reassured that this year FFP won’t be as strict as in 2023 in terms of required revenue to be generated as well as deadlines to be respected.

More importantly, the newspaper claims that the Friedkin ownership have made it clear they intend to make a significant financial effort to restructure Roma’s roster and invest in transfers.

The article concludes that Roma are expected to undergo a considerable overhaul in the summer with the club intent on slashing the wage bill.
