RomaPress – Friedkin’s schedule over the coming days has been set as the Houston-based consortium will officially acquire AS Roma on Monday, 17th August.
Legal representatives of The Friedkin Group along with Dan and Ryan Friedkin will touch down in London on Saturday and Sunday to complete the first portion of the acquisition in London, where Roma has an office near the Chelsea district.
Part of the necessary closing documents will be signed and notarised in the UK before the group flies to Rome to finalise the final portion of their takeover.
Neep Roma Holding SpA, one of the subsidiaries of AS Roma SPV LLC (AS Roma’s parent company), is registered in Italy and, therefore, cannot be closed and transferred outside of the country.
Once the transfer of Neep is finalised, Dan Friedkin will become the new owner and majority shareholder of AS Roma.
