Roma’s new owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin have yet to appoint a new Sporting Director at the club as their search leaks into its third month.
The Friedkin’s, though, are not handling the search entirely on their own — Sky Sport reports that Charles Gould, the Founder of Retexo Intelligence, is assisting them and the club.
Reportedly, the Friedkin’s have tabbed the Los Angeles-based sports insight and analytics company to help them in their quest to find the replacement of Gianluca Petrachi, who was sacked by the club in June.
According to their website, Retexo Intelligence specialises in “player analytics, technical and staff evaluation and identification, player sales strategy, academy evaluation, and organisational and departmental structuring.”
They also have a very long and reputable list of clients in the footballing world, which includes Real Madrid, Bordeaux, and Flamengo.
