Friedkins negotiate with UEFA Roma’s Financial Fair Play violation

Dan and Ryan Friedkin are working on several fronts including the latest suggested location for the Stadio della Roma, as well as the Giallorossi’s auto-declared violation of FFP rules, reports Il Tempo.

According to the Italian newspaper, the club owners are negotiating with UEFA a way to smooth things our after the Giallorossi accounted a loss of €244 million before June 2021, when the maximum loss allowed by UEFA amounted to €30million.

Roma are among the thirty clubs called up by the footballing institution in Nyon to explain and reassess the situation.

Roma CEO Pietro Berardi is closely collaborating with UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body.

Among the various options on the table, Il Tempo reports that there is also the possibility of a three-year settlement agreement, which would impose Roma a number of conditions to fulfill.
