Lorenzo Pellegrini has been placed on Roma’s transfer block.

The Giallorossi skipper is in fact up for sale as the club no longer consider him a key part of the squad.

With the arrival of Claudio Ranieri, Pellegrini’s role has become increasingly limited resulting in numerous transfer rumors over the course of past weeks.

According to Il Messaggero, a decision coming all the way from Dan Friedkin has been taken: Roma will not renew Lorenzo Pellegrini’s contract which expires in 2026.

The player’s salary is deemed to high and not reflective of his performances and output.

On Pellegrini’s tracks are Napoli and Fiorentina, with Inter and Juve watching but from a distance.

In Turkey, Galatasaray remain very attentive.
