Roma continue their journey in the Europa League after last night’s home victory over Ludogorets, and the bond between the capital club and Jose Mourinho only grows stronger according to several reports.
Corriere dello Sport claims that Mourinho is very happy with his time in the Italian capital – the Portuguese technician has embraced the players and the supporters at his side, and was able to lead the Giallorossi to their first European trophy earlier in the summer.
As a result, the Friedkin ownership are working to extend the Special One’s stay at Roma beyond the current contract expiry date which is set for June 2024.
The Friedkins have reportedly communicated to Mourinho their plan to continue to invest in the team in order to increase its competitiveness in the coming years.
