Roma have turned their attention to River Plate striker Lucas Beltran.
Over recent days Beltran had been heavily linked with a move to Fiorentina, but the deal is still not complete.
As a result, Roma have decided to use this as an opportunity to submit an offer for Beltran for whom the capital club had made inquiries earlier in the month.
According to Argentine portal Tyc Sports, Roma’s bid is currently being reviewed by River Plate.
Beltran has already expressed his preference for playing in Serie A. This year, the attacker scored 16 goals in 35 appearances for River.
