Romelu Lukaku’s incredible streak with Roma has not gone unnoticed.

The Belgian striker – who is at loan in the Italian capital for the duration of the season – has caught the attention of his parent club, Chelsea, with the high level of his recent performances.

According to English news outlet The Express, some members of Chelsea’s management have expressed regret of having let go of Lukaku in the summer.

In the meantime, Roma are already said to be working on extending Lukaku’s stay and making his transfer permanent.

The Giallorossi plan to meet Chelsea’s fixed pricetag at the end of the season with the potential sale of Tammy Abraham.
