Due to an injury crisis in both attack and midfield, Roma are eyeing potential free agents to help alleviate their already thin roster. English outlet The Daily Mail has reported that 28 year-old free agent midfielder Jack Rodwell is due to arrive in Rome in the coming hours to discuss a potential move to the Giallorossi.
Rodwell will, reportedly, undergo a series of fitness tests before Roma ultimately decide whether or not to sign the player. The Giallorossi also met today with Alessandro Beltrami, the agent of free agent midfielder Emil Hallfredsson.
Rodwell was released second tier side Blackburn Rovers earlier this year has been searching for a new club since May and has formerly played for Manchester City and Sunderland.
